Arts and Crafts style rooms are dressed with softly lit Christmas trees and decorations inspired by the Beale family's wishes for Christmas. During 'Twilight Lates' weekends in December, see the house atmospherically lit for Christmas. From 18th November see the Standen Christmas tree in the Courtyard and for families, don't miss our fun festive event - a theatrical, sound experience with Spun Glass Theatre.

The Courtyard Christmas Tree

Sat 18 Nov – Sun 1 Jan: 10am–4pm

From the BBC's 'Interior Design Masters' show, winner, Banjo Beale and runner up, Amy Davies, design this year's Christmas tree using sustainable, reclaimed and natural homemade decorations. Listen to local choirs sing around the Christmas tree during our twilight evenings.

The festive season is such a magical time for so many and we are delighted to provide this year's statement Christmas tree design. Quiet festive glam, a traditional colour palette and a considered approach to the tree’s decor, sees ornaments and baubles that have an inventive and artisanal character designed to link back to the house's character. Many are upcycled, preloved and natural and can be reused throughout the year. We're delighted to be part of Standen House and Gardens 2023 Christmas programme and are excited to create more joyful memories!
