Box Hill's Natural Play Trail
Our Natural Play Trail is full of hidden surprises and opportunities for you to practise everything from balancing to den making. This easy two-mile level walk is great for adventurous toddlers. After rain the pathway can be very muddy - please wear appropriate footwear.

Box Hill Stepping Stones walk
Enjoy the views of the Surrey Hills, pass by one of Box Hill's oldest buildings, the Fort, and take in one of Surrey's iconic landmarks, the Stepping Stones. There are over 200 steps to climb on this walk; please wear stout footwear as the walk can be muddy.

The hilltop stroll at Box Hill
Take in some of Surrey's finest views and marvel at the hidden history of Box Hill.

Box Hill Riverside Walk
The Riverside walk follows a glorious stretch of the river Mole as well as taking you through rare grasslands, ancient woodland and past some unusual Second World War structures.

The Box Hill Hike
This demanding circular hike is eight miles long. It should take around four hours but allow extra time for rest stops and lunch. The ground is rough in places with slippery slopes and rough paths - the views at the top of the climbs are well worth it.

Box Hill butterfly walk long route
Enjoy the sweeping areas of woodland and grassland paddocks on the Butterfly walk at Box Hill, one of the richest areas for butterflies in Britain.

Whitehill to Mickleham walk
A glorious woodland walk, with magnificent views and a pub stop at The Running Horses on the way round. Lovely in every season, some slopes but well worth the climb.

Box Hill Juniper Top circular walk
Starting at the top of Box hill with stupendous views as far as the South Downs, this walks takes you to the north side of Box Hill with stunning views over the valleys and tops of the North Downs. Wonderful in all seasons, it is especially beautiful in spring when the bluebells appear in the woods.

Box Hill Happy Valley circular walk
The route takes in some of Box Hill's hidden woodland and Broadwood's Tower, with some wonderful views of the Surrey countryside along the way - there are a series of steep steps part way round this route.

New Classic route will see iconic Box Hill tackled five times. Head to Box Hill for screen coverage, Rollapaluza race bikes and ice-cream.

Box Hill train to stepping stones walk
This walk starts at the lovely Victorian station of Box Hill and Westhumble and then climbs up to the peak of Box Hill following the way-marked Stepping Stones path. Enjoy the stunning and famous views before coming down and crossing the River Mole.

Box Hill crowned most popular cycle climb in the world
Box Hill has beaten the winding French Alpine passes to be crowned the most popular cycling hill climb in the world, according to exercise app Strava.

Prudential RideLondon is the considered to be the world’s greatest festival of cycling. It is coming through Surrey on Sunday 29 July 2018.

Cycling at Box Hill
Box Hill boasts fantastic terrain for road cycling and has become a renowned circuit because of the London 2012 Olympic road races. We host a gruelling stretch of Prudential's RideLondon event too.
