Stocked with delicious treats, snacks and light meals, the café and servery at Box Hill have plenty to tempt you. Grab and go from the servery hatch or take a seat in the café and then browse the second-hand book shop for a bargain.

The café at Box Hill

A range of hot and cold meals are on the menu in the café, including soup, one pots, jacket potatoes, salads and sandwiches. There are also morning pastries, cakes, bakes and scones for a cream tea on offer. Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options are available.

All our ingredients are sourced locally and we bake all of our scones and cakes on site.

The servery

Serving hot food from 8am, the servery is perfect for a quick bite or pit stop. The servery offers drinks, morning pastries, breakfast baps, sandwiches, cake as well as Jude's scooping ice cream.

Bring your own cup

While our take away drinks are served in compostable plant-based cups, if you buy a hot drink from our café or servery using your own reusable cup, we'll give you 25p off your drink.

Allergen information

Most of the food and drink served is prepared on site in our kitchen, using a wide range of ingredients. As a result, we can’t guarantee that any of our food and drink products are completely allergen free.

If you have an allergy or intolerance and would like ingredient information about the food and drink served, please ask the staff, who will be happy to help.

Always check when you visit

Visited before? We sometimes change our recipes to improve quality and flavour, including the ingredients. When you visit, please speak to one of our team to check the current allergen information for your favourite dish.

There's a small range of gluten-free and dairy-free food available at both the servery and café, as well as soya and oat milk for drinks.

Thank you

Every cuppa or tasty treat you buy helps us to continue looking after places for everyone to enjoy.
