February half-term in Berkshire

The snowdrops are out, the daffodils are coming and there's plenty to see and do at our places in and around Berkshire.
With a bit of luck and the right weather conditions, snowdrops should be carpeting the woodlands and sheltered nooks of our places in Berkshire. Cliveden is a good place to see them, as is Basildon Park. The daffodils will be well on their way by then too.

Basildon Park has four way-marked walks through the parkland that are perfect for stretching little legs at half-term. There are plenty of opportunities for balance-beaming and den-building along the way.

Winter walking at Basildon Park
Enjoy a relaxing stroll following the paths around the garden as you take in the views overlooking the River Thames and into the Chilterns, or take a refreshing longer walk around the woodland.
The Vyne is currently shrouded in scaffolding due the ongoing roof restoration project. It has opened up some great new opportunities for exploring. There are different objects form the collection on show in open stores, you can be a part of history by personalising a tile to go on the roof, or simply enjoy the great outdoors with den building, pooh sticks and geocaching in the woodland.
