WoodFest

Every September, WoodFest brings the heart of Hatfield Forest to life. This popular festival is a 'must do' on many calendars so, if this is your first time, you'll be in for a treat!

What's happening?

WoodFest 2019 runs from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 Sep 2019.

The music programme starts on Friday at 19.00, until 23.00, continues on Saturday from 12.00 until late, and then on Sunday from 12.00 to 17.00.

The stalls will be open from 10.00 on Saturday and Sunday.

As always there will be plenty to entertain you and your children in the Lake area over the weekend.

Live music

Local acts from all over come to play on the 'main stage' and take part in the 'open mic' stage. There's everything from folk and 90's covers to rock, brass and metal. We'll be announcing some of the bands on our Facebook page as the WoodFest weekend approaches.

Arts and Crafts

The lake area bustles with a large variety of stalls to indulge your inner shopper. Whatever your fancy you'll find something to buy for your home or a loved one. Traditional crafts sit alongside contemporary, original gifts. So, if you want to see how a wooden bowl is turned, or buy a sculpture for your garden, then this is your opportunity.

Food and drink

As well as our popular Forest Cafe menu, there'll be some other delicious food stalls to keep hunger at bay whilst you're dancing the hours away.

There'll also be several bars, offering a range of real ales and ciders, plus other drinks.  The Gin Bar returns, by popular request.

Caravaning and Camping

Complete your festival experience by staying for the weekend in the heart of the forest in you tent, caravan or campervan.  We have increased the space available for caravans and campervans

This year, we are also offering Bush Craft Camping - experience the real outdoors.

Book your pitches, on-line or by phone, through the National Trust booking office (0344 2491895). Booking opens in mid March.
