Easter days out in Berkshire

The natural world is waking up after the long sleep of winter. This Easter holiday, at a special place near you, there’s a spring trail brimming with clues and challenges to get you closer to nature. When you follow a spring trail, you help us look after special places like Basildon Park and Cliveden for everyone to enjoy. Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts run for the whole two weeks at the places listed below.

Basildon Park 

Get the whole family exploring the parkland with two half term trails and win a Cadburys chocolate treat.

Our annual Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt is back. Bring young explorers for a fun trail around the estate playing springtime games and activities. Receive a special Cadbury chocolate prize at the end. Trail runs until Sunday 15 April.

The Vyne 

Keep your eyes peeled for special ‘log boxes’ hidden around the grounds, on this Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt. Each one contains a picture of a wild animal that lives here, such as frogs and kingfishers. Collect a stamp for every one found and claim a yummy chocolate prize. 30 March to 15 April, 10am – 4pm, £3 per trail.

There's a Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt on 20 April at Pinkney's Drive near Maidenhead 11am-2.30pm. Discover oak trees, wildflower meadows, bluebells and meandering marshes on a walk around Pinkneys Green, Maidenhead Thicket or Cookham Commons.
