Easter days out in Oxfordshire

This Easter holiday, at a special place near you, there’s an Easter trail brimming with clues and challenges. The trails test your powers of observation and deduction and lead to intriguing new discoveries about the places you visit. When you follow an Easter trail, you help us look after special places like Greys Court and Nuffield Place for those who follow.

Greys Court 

There's a great opportunity for getting out and about in the holidays on the estate walk around Greys Court. With spring flowers to spot along the route, and natural play spots for the kids to discover along the route, this makes for an ideal family outing to get everyone out of the house. Or from 14 - 17 April, explore Greys Court whilst hunting down clues to claim a yummy chocolate treat on the Cadbury Egg Hunt.

Join us over the school holidays for our super sensory spring trail. Find all the boxes down Miss Alice's Drive - what will you feel? Smell? You might just find out more about the creatures that live here at Waddesdon along the way. Or there's the Cadbury Egg Hunt for those looking to follow clues and find a yummy chocolate treat.

Basildon Park 

Take in a spring trail around the grounds at Basildon Park all through the Easter holidays and discover what's happening in nature. There's a special waymarked route to find the Basil Den where you can tick off 50 things to do before you're 11 3/4 fun too. Or from 14 - 17 April you can follow the Cadbury Egg Hunt of giant eggs left by a very special bunny for a yummy chocolate treat at the end.
