Photography Workshops at Sutton Hoo

Sutton Hoo has teamed up with a local photography expert, Phil Morley, to run a series of photographic workshops. From a general over view on the topic to specific workshops focussing on different photographic techniques, there is something for photographers of all abilities and interests.

Phil Morley has been a professional photographer, working in both digital and film, for over twenty years. His images have also appeared in various national daily newspapers and magazines as well as a vast array of corporate and business publications.

Phil will be running the first series of workshops with us this autumn. The colours of the Sutton Hoo landscape always make for an ideal photo opportunity with dramatic valleys, autumnal woodlands and the ever-atmospheric Royal Burial Ground. There will be a second series of workshops running in early 2020- ideal for those receiving a new camera for Christmas- and another series in spring where there will be the opportunity to capture the wildlife on site waking up for the year.
