About 2 High StreetIn the centre of Lacock village, this 15th-century cottage is packed full of charm.
In the heart of Lacock is 2 High Street, a beautiful 15th-century cottage with reams of character. The village is a popular filming location, and 2 High Street was used by the stars of popular costume drama Cranford to relax in during shoots. You can see why they chose this four-bedroom retreat with its wonky timber frames, slate floors and low ceilings.
Sit back and watch the world pass by from an enviable spot at the centre of the village, or escape to the cottage’s secluded rear garden to soak up the sunshine – it’s a real suntrap on bright days.
As a guest you’ll have free access to Lacock Abbey, which with the support from your stay at 2 High Street, helps us to care for this special place. For walks through rolling countryside and prehistoric landscapes visit the Wiltshire downs to the east and Stonehenge to the south.
