Four Cadbury Egg Hunts to choose from this Easter...
We've got four different egg hunts in four stunning locations, so you can get outdoors in nature right across the Easter weekend
Kick start your Easter weekend at Buttermere
Friday 14 April (Good Friday)
There's always so much fun to be had down on the shores of Buttermere and this year we want you to really get the most out of the nature that surrounds you in this beautiful place. Customise your own baby eel and use it to play a version of Pooh-sticks, have a go at the balancing challenge and help us create a Dragonfly Tree, plus lots more - get the whole family down on the lakeshore for some Easter outdoors fun.
Head out west to Whitehaven Coast
Saturday 15 April
Just 5½ miles from the Lake District National Park, discover the whole different world of nature on the coast. Try some wild art, make a flower and discover more about the sea creatures that lurk in the waters nearby, as well as enjoying some old favourites: egg and spoon, egg rolling and barefoot walking.
Go wild in Ennerdale
Sunday 16 April (Easter Sunday)
Follow a 2 mile family friendly route on forest tracks and woodland paths to discover the hidden gem of Ennerdale while enjoying some fun activities. The Smithy Beck woodland trail takes you through beautiful surroundings with great lake and mountain views, a wonderful place for the kids to run free and immerse themselves in nature.
Keep on hunting at Derwent Water
Monday 17 April, Easter Monday
Just a short stroll from Keswick town centre, let the kids go wild in nature with '50 Things' activities among woodland and on the lakeshore. Be a nature detective and use your hunt map to find all the fun activities, you might need to climb a tree, jump some waves or build a den - whatever you get up to, keep your eyes and ears open to spot the wildlife around you.
All our hunts are £2.50 per child and run from 11am with the last maps being given out at 2.30pm to allow everyone time to get around the whole route at a leisurely pace.
