Something for everyone

From a relaxed lunch after a long walk or a sweet treat with a group of friends or even just a quiet breakfast. The Garden Tea House has something for everyone. Offering something a little more special this menu is perfect for any occasion.

Walled Kitchen Garden

The Garden Tea House was originally built for the head gardener by the Duke of Newcastle. Very generous of the Duke although, you will notice there’s no front door as he was still a member of staff. Keep an eye out for the space where the front door should be!

Today, we still keep our link strong with the Walled Kitchen Garden by using as much of its produce as possible.

Outlawed Vegetables

Our head chef Rob works closely with head gardener Chris to use the best seasonal ingredients in our dishes. Along with the ‘outlawed vegetables’ we have access to at Clumber Park so you won’t find these in the Supermarket!

And with the National Rhubarb Collection here at Clumber make sure you try one of our 130 varieties when the seasons right!

Not just a café

If you’re looking for somewhere a little different to host a baby shower, birthday or even a meeting why not use one of our distinctive rooms. Accommodating up to 20 people this is a lovely setting overlooking the Walled Kitchen Garden.

We don’t charge for room hire but admission charges apply. If you’d like any more details please call 01909 544925.
