parkrun
A weekly, free, friendly, timed 5k run. A friendly and welcoming event, parkrun is a great way to start the weekend and is suitable for beginners and more experienced runners alike.

**Due to the predicted high winds from Storm Éowyn and possible requirement for a full tree safety audit, parkrun is cancelled 25 January 2025**
The 2 lap course is run on a mixture of tarmac paths, stoned trail and forest paths. Before your first run please register on the parkrun website and print out your barcode to bring with you. Children under 11 years old must run within an arms length of their grown up and runners may only run with one dog which must be on a short hand-held lead.
