Easter in North Devon
Join us for a breath of fresh air this Easter at some of North Devon's most beautiful locations; hunt for clues and get closer to nature with family friendly trails around the coast and countryside. This year we have a choice of six Easter trails across North Devon; four Cadbury Egg Hunts and two spring nature trails.
Cadbury Egg Hunts
Follow the trails set by the Rangers, and find the clues to claim your Cadbury’s prize. We have a choice of four Cadbury Egg Hunts across North Devon. No booking needed just turn up between 10.30am and 3pm. £2.50 per child.
Woolacombe Fri 30 March – Mon 2 April
What has Bunny been hiding in the sand dunes at Woolacombe? Find the clues hidden behind the tiny wooden doors in this adventurous trail around Woolacombe Warren to claim your Cadbury's chocolate prize. Pick up your trail map from the Woolacombe Tourist Information Centre on the Esplanade.
Baggy Point Fri 30 March – Sun 15 April
Follow this fun family trail around the scenic coastal headland of Baggy Point, Croyde in search of Bunny's hidden clues. He’s left them all over the place, so you’ll have to look hard. Complete this year’s Cadbury Egg Hunt and you can claim a delicious chocolate bunny as a reward. Meet at the car park kiosk.
Brownsham Sat 31 March – Sun 1 April
Head off through the beautiful, enchanted Beckland Woods on this year’s Cadbury Egg Hunt in search of colourful Easter rabbits. Bunny will join you along the way to help you find the password, the magic word you need to claim your delicious Cadbury chocolate prize. Meet at the ranger's office.
Watersmeet Fri 30 March – Mon 2 April
Start at Watersmeet House and follow the woodland trail to find the clues left behind by Bunny to claim your Cadbury chocolate prize. The trail follows the winding river as it makes its way through the beautiful wooded valley that surrounds Watersmeet.
Spring Nature Trails
Heddon Valley Fri 30 March – Sun 15 April
Follow this nature-themed spring trail through the beautiful Heddon Valley to discover more about its wonderful wildlife. Start at the National Trust ranger's office and follow the fun trail along the river, through the beautiful woodland and towards the sea looking out for clues and activities along the way.
Brownsham Mon 2 April - Sun 15 April
Can you find the animal clues hidden in the woods? This gentle self-led nature trail starts from the car park at Brownsham, near Hartland Point, and winds through the beautiful woodland. Pick up your trail map for free from the car park.
Arlington Court Fri 30 March - Sun 15 April
