Polesden Lacey's Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt: Creature Comforts

Boys run with their family past daffodils in Saltram Garden, Devon

Our Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt takes place for the whole of the Easter holidays from 30 March – 15 April, 10am-3pm, normal admission applies plus £3 per explorer. We have a delightful new nature-themed trail for children. Help Polesden’s woodland creatures to try and find a cosy bed for a mysterious new pet.

Don't forget your wellies

Due to the recent wet weather, parts of the trail will be very muddy. Watch out while you're walking and make sure you're dressed appropriately in wellies and waterproofs.

For the whole winter Maggie Greville, Polesden Lacey's historical owner, has been travelling around Asia, visiting all the famous sites and making new friends.

She is now on her way back to England, and she says she’s bringing a new pet. But no one knows what it is! Could it be an elegant crane from Japan? Or a wrinkly elephant from Sri Lanka? Or maybe even a bright tiger from Java?

Can you help Polesden’s woodland creatures search the grounds to try and find the perfect bed so he’ll be comfortable when he arrives? You’ll receive a delicious Cadbury chocolate prize in return for your help.

Fun throughout the holidays

Don’t forget, our Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt runs from when the kids break up on 30 March to 15 April, so there’s plenty of time to join in on the fun.

There are also lots of Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts happening at our neighbouring properties, like Hatchlands Park, Claremont Landscape Garden, Dapdune Wharf and more.
