Three-bedroom Greenlands is a dream home, with an open fire, modern kitchen and a south-facing conservatory. Once a farm workers’ cottage, it’s encompassed by green fields, heathland and sea views over Poole Harbour. The water's edge is just a short walk from the cottage, where you’ll be close enough to see Brownsea Island.

For the nearest sandy beach, drive just five minutes to the golden dunes of Studland Beach. Loop onto the South West Coast Path for walks along the Jurassic Coast, with breath-taking seascapes at Old Harry Rocks, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.

The cottage is in the Purbeck Heaths National Nature Reserve, full of important habitats and rare wildlife, and the money you spend on your stay will contribute to conservation work in the area. You can explore this vast reserve on foot, or hire bikes at Purbeck Park in Corfe, a 15-minute drive away.

You'll have free entry to National Trust places, including the striking ruins of Corfe Castle. Further afield, drive 30 minutes to Poole Harbour where you can catch the ferry to adventure island, Brownsea.

What's provided in a National Trust holiday cottage?
Please note: The cottage is in a great spot next to Poole Harbour. Thee garden is enclosed, but it's only a short walk to the waters edge from the gate. There is also a pond within the garden and so children should be supervised.

There may be ponies grazing in the fields around the cottage.

Heating: Gas central heating is included.

Logs: This cottage has a woodburner. We’ll lay the first fire for you and supply a few extra logs. More logs are available to purchase when making a booking. The current price will be shown on the payment page.

Parking: There are three parking spaces adjacent to the cottage with a well lit gravel path leading to the cottage.

Wi-Fi: We’re pleased to provide free WiFi access at this accommodation, which is supported by BT. Please note intermittent connection problems can sometimes occur and therefore should not be relied upon.
