The castle and gardens are open 10am-4pm at weekends throughout December and daily 16 December-5 January. The Stables Shop, Watermill Tearoom, parkland and car park open daily.

Christmas at Lacock
The lights were twinkling at Lacock once more for Christmas 2024, with santa's sleigh in the Courtyard by the 20ft tree. The Community Christmas Tree festival returned to set the Cloister glittering with twinkly lights and handmade decorations and the Great Hall was decked out in traditional decorations. Mother Christmas settled down in the grotto to read another Christmas story, and visitors could create their own decorations and post a letter to the North Pole in the Botanic Garden Bothy.

Christmas 2024 at Tyntesfield
For Christmas 2024, visitors were emersed in Christmas Past at Tyntesfield. They followed the family reindeer trail, tried their hand at craft workshops, experienced a festive carousel ride and soaked in the Christmas spirit with festive decorations in Tyntesfield House and across Tyntesfield Estate. Tyntesfield combined Christmas traditions with wider community themes through stunning art installations, innovative decorations and interactive experiences.
