You can pre-book any time up to the DAY BEFORE your visit. There is no charge to reserve a mansion key. Entry to Belton is free for members. Non members pay for admission on arrival at Belton. All visitors to the house will require their own key.

What is Gift Aid?

Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.

Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:

  • Gift Aid Admission
  • Standard Admission

If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.

Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.

An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

Please note...

Entry to Belton House is free for National Trust members. If you have a Family or Joint Membership, please bring both your membership cards to gain admission.

We operate a timed entry system to the main rooms of the mansion which is pre-bookable. Please see the website for more information.

Basement tours can't be booked in advance but are available every day until 23 November 2018. Basement tours are free with a 'House and Grounds' ticket. Paying visitors with a 'Grounds Only' ticket can buy a separate ticket for a basement tour from the information point next to visitor reception.

Christmas in the Mansion tours can't be booked in advance but are available every day between 24 November 2018 and 6 January 2019. Paying visitors with a 'Grounds Only Winter' ticket can buy a separate ticket for Christmas in the Mansion from visitor reception.

A family ticket applies for up to 2 adults, and 3 children aged from 5-17 years. Children under 5 are free.

Group bookings require a minimum of 15 people. The discount rate applies regardless how many National Trust members are in the group.

Main season prices: 3 March - 28 October 2018.

Winter prices: 1 January - 2 March and 29 October - 31 December 2018.

Meeting point
Please collect your timed entry keys from the information point behind Visitor Reception. Follow signs to the mansion and wait in the West Courtyard at the time slot stated on your key.
What to bring and wear
Please avoid wearing sharp heels in the mansion to help look after the floors. You may be provided with covers for muddy shoes.
Accessibility
Entrance to the house involves stairs. Assistance is available to get into the house, please speak to a member of the team.
