Dorset Wildlife Trust and the National Trust have partnered to offer you an opportunity to enjoy the island and its wildlife before the crowds arrive.

A ranger from the Dorset Wildlife Trust team will lead you on a wander around the island, lakes and lagoon. Experience the peace and tranquility of the island and listen out for the sounds of the unique wildlife as they busy about their day.

Afterwards, enjoy a delicious breakfast roll and hot beverage in our harbour fronted cafe before heading back on the National Trust boat to Sandbanks.

Meet at the Sandbanks National Trust jetty to the right hand side of the chain ferry.
What to bring and wear
Bring sensible outdoor clothing and footwear.
Accessibility
Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access on the boat.

Please let us know of any dietary requirements If you wish to stay longer on the island, please let the boatman know. You may head back to Sandbanks on the 1:20, 14:20 or 15:20 National Trust boat.
