As part of the Heritage Open Days we will be throwing open the doors of Horsey Windpump and inviting everyone to come and visit this magnificent Norfolk Broads Icon for free! Discover her eventful history and connection to the surrounding landscape.

Heritage Open Days is England's largest festival of history and culture, bringing together over 2,500 organisations, 5,000 events and 40,000 volunteers. Every year in September, expanded to eight days this year, places across the country throw open their doors to celebrate their heritage, community and history. It's your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences - and it's all FREE.

Experience Horsey Windpump and watch her sails turning in this beautiful Norfolk Broads setting.

Accessibility
Paths to windpump are wheelchair accessible (wider estate are not). Only ground floor is accessible for wheelchair users & stairs to upper floors may not be suitable for those with impaired mobility.
Other
Car parking is chargeable for non-National Trust members. Car parking is free for National Trust members. Dogs are not welcome inside the windpump but are welcome outside.
