The Royston and Saffron Walden Association

View of the house at Anglesey Abbey, Gardens and Lode Mill, Cambridgeshire.

The Royston and Saffron Walden Association’s varied winter programme of talks, taking place on the last Friday evening of every month alternately in Royston and Saffron Walden, has included Behind the Iron Curtain, Policing in the Community and William Morris and Kelmscott Manor.

Our summer outing programme has enabled us to visit Kew Gardens and the newly refurbished Kew Palace, Belvoir Castle, Baddesley Clinton and take walking tours of London.
We have visited Hereford and Northumberland and, further afield, the First World War battlefields, the Bulb Fields of Holland and Rouen and North East Normandy.
The programme gives members numerous opportunities to socialise and enables us to support both financially and through volunteer activity Wimpole Hall and Anglesey Abbey, both just a few miles away, and Oxburgh Hall in Norfolk.
There is plenty on offer for you, so do come and join us. You can find our contact details by clicking on our website link below.
