Volunteer in East Devon
We're on the lookout for helping hands, so whether you can join our team regularly or spare only a day, there are opportunities available for you to try new skills and take care of our places.
When you offer a helping hand, we can take even better care of our special places.
If only the walls could talk! That's why our Volunteer Tour Guides make such a difference. They’re passionate about family stories, art and interiors, and love making people feel at home. They know all the must-see spots, and help us to share the ways we’re looking after them.
You'll help families make the most of their visit through our '50 Things to do before you are 11 ¾' campaign, with activities from building mini rafts to rockpooling, kite flying to pebble painting. As well as family fun you will be chatting to visitors, letting them know more about Branscombe and all the village has to offer.
In Branscombe's Manor Mill, the Guides are key to the experience. Providing a warm and friendly welcome to everyone, our Guides walk visitors through history and bring the mill to life. This role is brilliant for those who are enthusiastic, eager to share stories and help others appreciate this wonderful working mill.
If you like to get hands-on, once a week or once a year, then there are a number of different ways you can work alongside our East Devon rangers. Please give us a call to find out more 01297 680507.
