Whether you’re looking to travel by bus, train, bike or foot, there are many places in Devon you can visit without a car.

A la Ronde
Bus services stop within ½ mile. Lympstone is the nearest train station (1 mile). National Cycle route 2 runs alongside the Exe Estuary.Plan your visit
Branscombe
The Axe Valley Mini Travel stops at Branscombe village hall. The South West Coast Path is within ¾ mile.Plan your visit
Buckland Abbey
Stagecoach and City Bus services serve Buckland Abbey. Drakes Trail, part of National Cycle route 27, is within 2 miles with posts available in the car park where you can secure your bicycle.Plan your visit
Castle Drogo
Stagecoach bus services stop at the bottom of Castle Drogo’s drive. National Cycle route 28 is close, with bike racks on site.Plan your visit
Clyston Mill
Stagecoach bus services stops at Broadclyst, from the bus shelter it is a short walk (approximately 4 minutes). The cycle path from Killerton to Broadclyst village passes Clyston Mill.Plan your visit
Finch Foundry
Stagecoach bus service stops at Sticklepath, from the bus stop it is less than 100 yards to Finch Foundry. Okehampton train station is the closest (4 miles), where you can complete your journey via bus. The Tarka Trail goes through Sticklepath.Plan your visit

Killerton
Stagecoach bus services stop approximately 1km from Killerton. Pinhoe train station is the closest (4 ½ miles) where you can complete your journey via bus. Killerton is approximately 7 ½ miles from Exeter, following almost unbroken segregated cycle routes.Plan your visit
Knightshayes
Bus services stop at Tiverton, from there it is 1 ¾ mile walk. National Cycle route 3 passes, with bike parking in the lower car park.Plan your visit
Lonra Doone Valley
The Exmoor Coaster bus service stops at County Gate carpark, which is ¾ mile away. North Devon cycle route 51 goes through Lorna Doone Valley, with bike parking available by the Visitor Welcome Hut and Buttery Tearoom.Plan your visit
Lundy
Bus services serve Ilfracombe and Bideford, from there you complete your journey via the ferry.Plan your visit
Lydford Gorge
Bus services stop at both entrances to Lydford Gorge. National Cycle route 27 passes by, with bicycle parking available at both entrances.Plan your visit
Parke
Stagecoach and Country Bus services stops at Bovey Tracey, from there it is a 15 minute walk to the estate.Plan your visit

Saltram
Bus services stop at the outer edge of the estate, from there it is either a 30 minutes walk (through parkland) or a 45 minute walk (along the river). Plymouth is the closest train station (3 ½ miles), where you can complete your journey via bus. National Cycle route 27 passes Saltram.Plan your visit
Shaugh Bridge
Bus services from Plymouth stop at Shaugh Bridge. National Cycle route 27 is close to the site.Plan your visit
South Milton Sands
Bus services from Kingsbridge stop approximately 1 mile outside of South Milton.Plan your visit
Watersmeet

Bus services from Plymouth stop at Wembury, from there it is an approximate 10-minute walk to Wembury Beach. For Wembury Point, the bus service stops at Wembury Point, from there it is an approximate 10-minute walk to Wembury Point.Plan your visit

Bus services serve this area. National Cycle route 27 runs above Woolacombe Bay, passing close to Mortehoe and Baggy Point.Plan your visit
