Take part in a 5km timed run, jog or walk around Fell Foot with Lake Windermere as your backdrop. Organised by Parkrun, all you have to do is sign up and dust off your trainers.
This one is quite steep - but if you've the energy to make it to Tarn Hows at the top, the return route offers spectacular views of the high fells of Wetherlam and Coniston Old Man.
This 11-mile cycle trail through Great Langdale valley has spectacular views and opportunities to stop for refreshments along the way.
Borrowdale is a great place to walk in the Lake District without leaving civilisation too far behind, especially with our easy to follow way-marked trails.
The grounds of Wray Castle are just waiting to be explored and to make your adventure even more exciting, you can easily travel there by bike.
