Get out and active in the Lake District

We really can't think of a better location to get out and about. It's an adventure playground here in the Lakes and whether the fells are dusted with snow or the sun is shining, try a lakeshore amble, embark on a challenging hike or dust off your bike, we have it all.

Take part in a 5km timed run, jog or walk around Fell Foot with Lake Windermere as your backdrop. Organised by Parkrun, all you have to do is sign up and dust off your trainers.

This one is quite steep - but if you've the energy to make it to Tarn Hows at the top, the return route offers spectacular views of the high fells of Wetherlam and Coniston Old Man.
