Eating at Washington Old Hall

Taking scones out of the oven

Secluded, peaceful and cosy, Washington Old Hall cafe is nestled within the gardens and while it may be on the small side, you won't be disappointed.

Open every day from 10am, there are seating areas both inside the cafe and in the courtyard outside.

Here, you can order from a selection of hot and cold drinks alongside a range of delicious, freshly made soup, sandwiches, cakes and scones. And many of them are made right here.

So whether you're meeting with friends for a catch-up, have been for an adventure in the nuttery or simply love relaxing with cake and your favourite book, come and see us.

Sometimes, there's nothing better than a fresh sandwich packed with a tasty filling. And here, we have ham and spinach mustard mayo, egg mayo and watercress and cheese and pickle. We like to think of them as classics. Which will you choose?

Sweet treats

Coffee and cake after a good walk

Alongside a range of cakes and brownies, there is one choice that stands out - the homemade pineapple and coconut showstopper cake is a sight to behold and a treat to taste. Delicious.
