Brancaster Bursary Appeal
In memory of Caroline Gundle, the Brancaster Bursary Fund helps provide financial support to enable more children to experience the great outdoors at Brancaster Activity Centre in Norfolk.
Why every donation matters
- More than 1000 children stay with us each year
- In 2018 we'll celebrate 20 years of connecting children with the outdoors
- So far we've helped over 800 children with our bursary fund
" Without the support and kindness of people such as yourself and others involved in this Bursary Fund these children, from families who are suffering financial hardship, would not have had the opportunity to experience these activities with their classmates. "
Our bursary is in memory of Caroline Gundle...
"To me she was a dear big sister and the picture of smiling faces in a red dingy could have been lifted from our own family album, in an echo of the idyllic childhood we enjoyed in rural Leicestershire.
"Caroline was wife, sister, daughter, mother, nurse and friend and she excelled in all these roles, always finding the time to appreciate and find the good in everyone. Helping children less fortunate than her own would have come naturally to Caroline, and so Brancaster Activity Centre would surely have been dear to her heart.
"Giving is a way to remember our dear Caroline as well as helping support a great cause."

Why give to the National Trust?
As a charity, we rely on the generosity of supporters to look after the outdoor spaces in our care. Not only do our supporters help to conserve beautiful landscapes and protect precious plants and wildlife. But they also ensure that future generations have places they can find freedom from everyday life, reconnect with the natural world and make memories to treasure. With your support, we can continue to protect the irreplaceable. For ever, for everyone.
