North Devon woodland appeal
There’s wonder to be found in our woodlands, but increasingly these spaces are being threatened. Donate today and help us plant over one hundred thousand trees along the whole of the North Devon coast, from West Exmoor, to Woolacombe right down to Bideford Bay, to help combat climate change and build a natural corridor to give our wildlife a better chance.
North Devon Woodland Appeal Facts
- Just one tree can absorb up to 1 tonne of CO2 in its lifetime
- The trees will provide a home for birds, bats and butterflies that otherwise may not have a home.
- These trees will help remove the equivalent of 230 cars from the road.
" There are great benefits to gain from tree-planting. We can improve valuable habitats and biodiversity while making an impact on carbon emissions that contribute climate change. Besides all of this, trees create a wonderful oasis to escape for peace and tranquility."

Why give to the National Trust?
As a charity, we rely on the generosity of supporters to look after the outdoor spaces in our care. Not only do our supporters help to conserve beautiful landscapes and protect precious plants and wildlife. But they also ensure that future generations have places they can find freedom from everyday life, reconnect with the natural world and make memories to treasure. Your donation will go towards this project and other vital conservation work in the outdoors at this special place. With your support, we can continue to protect the irreplaceable. For everyone, for ever.
