Top of the Gorge activity weekend, 12-13 June 2021

Mountain bikers at Top of the Gorge festival

Top of the Gorge will return this June, as a weekend bursting with challenges to get you active and enjoy the beautiful Cheddar Gorge.

Welcoming day visitors, Top of the Gorge activity weekend celebrates getting active in the Somerset countryside.

The pop-up hub-site looks right through the jaws of the gorge towards the Somerset coast, amid the Mendip Hills AONB. Activities include trail running, mountain biking and a road cycling challenge.

The Mendip Hills are famous for trails, crags and caves and Cheddar Gorge is one of England's most iconic and spectacular landscapes. With your support, the National Trust is really proud to care for the north side of this spectacular gorge and we hope that you will enjoy exploring it in a way that suits you.

To get involved just book your challenge with one of our partners:
