Volunteer at Top of the Gorge festival

Coronavirus update: due to current government guidance, Top of the Gorge, a festival filled with outdoor adventure, inspirational speakers, challenges and activities, has been cancelled.

Latest visiting update
Our gardens, parks, cafés, shops, countryside locations and many houses are open. You no longer need to pre-book at many places. Some still require booking ahead, so please check the property webpage before you travel.
In 2020, for its third year Top of the Gorge festival was due to be returning to the heights above Cheddar Gorge. The festival is filled with outdoor adventure, inspirational speakers and plenty of challenges and activities to take part in. In order to ensure the festival is a success we need many volunteers to help it run. This could be either in the lead up to the event or across the festival weekend itself.
We will need help with both practical outdoors roles and with organising behind the scenes in the lead up to the event. Volunteering for the festival is perfect for those who are unable to commit to long term volunteer roles or who are wanting to get a flavour of what volunteering with the Trust has to offer.
Whether volunteering in the lead-up or across the weekend, or after the event has happened as part of our pack down team you will receive free full-weekend festival entry (with a commitment to 8 hours volunteering).
