The House by the Dyke is a 1930s villa located near the Kitchen Garden and with spectacular views along Offa’s Dyke and down into the Ceiriog Valley.
With its large, open rear terrace the picturesque House by the Dyke is the perfect place to unwind and take in your surroundings. Large interior rooms and plentiful parking mean there is lots of space to relax, and with Chirk Castle and estate right on your doorstep, and many other unique tourist destinations within a few minutes drive, it is the perfect base from which to explore the local area.

Parking: parking for several cars on a graveled area to the front of the cottage
Approach to Cottage: please note that there are security gates at Chirk Castle which are closed between 7.00pm and 7.30am (closing at 9pm in the summer). On arrival after this time the Duty Officer can be contacted by pressing the buzzer on the gate. A 'zapper' is available for your stay for 24 hour access.
Heating: electric wall panel heating included.
Garden: large private terrace and lawned gardens. Conservatory leading out onto decking area.
