Volunteering at Coleridge Cottage

Conservation volunteers at Coleridge Cottage, Nether Stowey

There are many opportunities for you to get involved. Volunteers help throughout the cottage and garden, from guiding visitors through the rooms and giving exceptional information, to helping out in the shop and tea rooms.

Am I suitable?

You don't need any qualifications or specific experience, you just need to be friendly and enjoy meeting all kinds of people.
Training is provided and you’ll have a buddy to help you find your feet.

Why get involved?

Volunteering gives you the chance to:
  • Be part of a friendly and dedicated team
  • Meet people from all walks of life
  • Share skills and gain new ones
  • Improve job prospects
  • Have fun and enjoy new experiences
  • Make a difference
'I started volunteering to support the National Trust because I enjoy helping others to get the best experience of visiting somewhere special.'
Sally, volunteer since 2011
