Start your '50 things to do before you're 11¾' adventure at Cuckmere Valley
Cuckmere Valley is made up of two beautiful coastal and riverside properties. Chyngton Farm is a haven for birds and wildlife at the mouth of the Cuckmere river. Frog Firle Farm is a haven for bugs, flowers and other wildlife on the banks of the river. There are plenty of ‘50 things to do before you're 11 ¾’ that you can tick off here at Cuckmere Valley. How many can you do?
There's no excuse for not getting going with your list at Cuckmere Valley. Start with:
No.2 Roll down a really big hill
No.7 Fly a kite.
No.21 Forage for wild food.
No.22 Get to know a tree.
No.24 Go barefoot.
No.25 Join nature's band.
No.40 Go on a nature walk at night
Don't let the weather put you off!
Why not try ‘No.6 Go welly wandering’ if the weather isn't up to much? There's plenty to do in wet weather at Cuckmere Valley, including ‘No.13 Make a mud creation’. If you’re lucky enough to get to see Cuckmere Valley in the snow then you can try ‘No.15 Go on a wintery adventure’.
Watch the beautiful sunrise above the Cuckmere river with ‘No. 23 Get up for sunrise’, or you could stay late and catch the sunset. Either way, watching the sun come and up or set over the Cuckmere river is well worth the wait.
