The outdoor team at Hardcastle Crags invite you to roll up your sleeves, become rangers for an afternoon and help us give nature a helping hand.

Come along to a bracken bashing session and help us to create more diversity in the woodland. Bring the whole family, learn new skills, meet new people and enjoy making a difference to this ancient woodland.

Under 18s will need to be accompanied by an adult.

The basics

Suitability
This volunteering session is suitable for the whole family.
Unfortunately dogs are not welcome at this event.

Meet in the Midgehole car park
What to bring and wear
Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and good footwear. Insect repellent, sun cream and gloves are advised. We will break for lunch. The café will be open, alternatively picnics are welcome.
