Percy The Park Keeper is a modern classic, loved and trusted by generations of children, parents and grandparents. The world of Percy The Park Keeper is a happy, kind and inspiring place where everybody matters.
The trail is all about becoming Percy’s helper for the day and stepping into his wellies while he’s busy - there’s a lot to get done in winter! Working with Percy and his animal friends, there will be winter activities along the trail.
Get your wheelbarrows ready and help us care for nature.

What is Gift Aid?
Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.
Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:
- Gift Aid Admission
- Standard Admission
If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.
Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.
An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

- Trail packs will be available from Visitor Reception. Last entry on the trail is 2:30pm.
- What to bring and wear
- Please wear weather appropriate clothing - wrap up warm and don't forget your waterproofs.
- The trail is accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs. For tramper hire please call 01207 541820.
- The trail will take you along the Avenue and will take between 60 to 90 minutes to complete.
