Walk to the Worm

Join our Lead Ranger and knowledgeable volunteers for a walk to the Worm on New Years' Day. This event is free of charge but booking is essential. Donations to the National Trust are welcome.

Our ranger and volunteers will guide you from Rhosili car park to the outer head of Worms Head. Along the walk you will find out about how the National Trust looks after this ancient landscape, including the exciting wildlife-friendly farm project on the Vile. The ranger and volunteers will help you see a variety of wildlife that is found along the route and share with you their depth of knowledge on the area. This challenging walk takes around 4 hours and is 5 miles long in total.

What to bring and wear
Bring sturdy footwear and waterproofs. This walk is challenging so poles are recommended if you use them.
Accessibility
This event is not suitable for those with mobility issues as the walk is along steep and sometimes slippery terrain.
