Timetable of events:
10am to 12pm - Wicken Fen Walk: volunteer opportunity. Find out about becoming a walk leader for our Footprints project: enjoy an easy walk (approximately 2.5 miles) round the beautiful Adventurers’ Trail and join us for refreshments and an informal chat afterwards.
1:30-3:30pm - Vision Safari. Meet our rangers for a walk through the reserve to Upware then climb aboard the Mayfly for a boat trip along the Reach and Wicken Lodes. Discover parts of the reserve where natural processes are providing new habitats for wildlife as part of the Vision project. (3 mile walk, age 10+)
Adults £6.50, Child £3.75 (up to 18 years), Family £18.85 (2 adults and 2 children).

2-4pm - Vision Safari. As above but beginning with the boat trip and returning with rangers on foot.
2.30-3.15pm - Wildflower Walk - Join us for a tranquil wander alongside the rustling reeds and abundance of fen foliage on the reserve and discover some of the species that make Wicken Fen such a special place. Free, spaces limited.
All day - Vision Explorer Cycle Trail - Explore our trail to Tubney Fen. This 8 mile out and back route takes you to Tubney Fen where you can look out for wildlife such as marsh harriers, wigeon and roe deer.

What is Gift Aid?
Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.
Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:
- Gift Aid Admission
- Standard Admission
If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.
Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.
An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

The Boardwalk ,Woodland Walk and Summer Nature Trail are now open on Sedge Fen. Admission is through the Visitor Centre for this core historic part of the Fen.
Free entry for National Trust members, please show your cards in the Visitor Centre. .
For those wanting to visit the wider reserve, please note we operate pay and display in our car park where car park charges of £3 will apply for non members. Members park free of charge; please scan your membership card to get your ticket to display.

- Come dressed for the weather. If you are joining one of the walks sturdy footwear is advised. Please bring water with you - our cafe staff will be pleased to offer a refill.
- The Boardwalk, Woodland Walk and walking route along the cycleway are all accessible. Please contact us if you wish to join one of the events and have access requirements and we will be happy to advise you.
