If you have not ridden a bike in many years, why not join us in a small group, to be taken through the basics - tyre pumping, fitting a helmet, and pre-ride checks, to how to balance and control a bike! Go out on a short ride away from roads with our team on hand to help.

What is Gift Aid?

Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.

Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:

  • Gift Aid Admission
  • Standard Admission

If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.

Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.

An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

Please note...

The Boardwalk ,Woodland Walk and Summer Nature Trail are now open on Sedge Fen. Admission is through the Visitor Centre for this core historic part of the Fen. 

Free entry for National Trust members, please show your cards in the Visitor Centre. .

For those wanting to visit the wider reserve, please note we operate pay and display in our car park where car park charges of £3 will apply for non members. Members park free of charge; please scan your membership card to get your ticket to display.

Meet at the Wicken Fen cycle hire hut
What to bring and wear
Wear warm clothing, trousers or leggings ideally., and suitable shoes such as trainers. Bring your own bike and helmet, or borrow from our cycle hire fleet and supplies.
Accessibility
This activity will be cycling for independent adults.
