This Yoga and Wellbeing retreat offers a unique opportunity to tend to your body and mind, whilst experiencing an overnight stay on Orford Ness, where you can truly press pause on the busyness of day-to-day life.
The event is being led by Sarah Gartshore, Founder of Suffolk-based Bright and Well-Being Yoga. Sarah is a yoga and meditation teacher and certified wellness coach. She will be creating opportunities throughout your stay to connect to your body and mind, and the beauty of Orford Ness.
This event will begin at 4pm on Saturday 9th July, where you will be taken to Orford Ness by boat across the estuary. Accommodation is basic but comfortable with shared rooms and bunk beds. You will return to Orford via ferry at 4pm on Sunday 10th July
The schedule will include:
Welcome talk on arrival
Sunset Yoga, meditation and intention setting.
Sunrise yoga, meditation and journaling
Guided mindful walk and walking meditation
Group Wellness coaching session focusing on finding more balance in your life, including journaling and self-reflection.
Ferry back to Orford.
The schedule will allow for quiet time to enjoy Orford Ness.
The yoga sessions will be suitable for all levels.

- Crossing from Orford Quay to the Ness on the Saturday at 4pm by boat. Return is at 4pm on the Sunday. Park in public pay and display car park (not NT)
- What to bring and wear
- Accommodation is in shared bunkhouse rooms. Bring clothes suitable for yoga, meditation and walking.
- Involves ferry crossing - must be able to negotiate steep and sometimes slippery steps. Mostly made up paths, some uneven.
