Children will help Mother Christmas prepare for the Yuletide season with this fun festive trail. We've set-up challenges around the estate for little ones to help prepare Father Christmas for the big day.

This year, Mother Christmas’ enchanted world comes to Cliveden, and she needs your help to send Father Christmas off on time. The estate has transformed into their magical workshop and they need your help preparing for the busiest night of the year, all before Christmas Eve draws to a close. Will you complete all your tasks before the world awakes on Christmas Day?

What is Gift Aid?
Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.
Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:
- Gift Aid Admission
- Standard Admission
If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.
Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.
An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

Travel to Cliveden by 'green transport' and receive a £1 voucher to spend in the National Trust shop or café. Mooring charge on Cliveden Reach £10 per 24 hours (including members) does not include entry fee to Cliveden. Tickets from River Warden. Mooring at suitable locations for more than ½ mile downstream from Cliveden boathouse
- This trail is suitable for children aged 3+, with a guideline of up to 13 years.
- Dogs on leads are welcome.
- Meeting point
- Make your way to the event tent, located next to the Information Centre, in the main car park to pick up your trail.
- What to bring and wear
- The trail is outdoors. Please bring warm, comfortable clothing and footwear.
- The trail is mostly on hard paths, with some grassy, uneven or steep sections. To discuss individual access requirements, call us directly on 01628 605069.
