Paint the garden workshop with watercolour artist John Wiltshire

Learn how to create your own watercolour painting, in the idyllic landscape of Bateman’s.

  • Booking essential

Starting with a demonstration from watercolour artist John Wiltshire, learn the techniques you need to begin your own painting and discover your inner artist.

This five-hour workshop for adults is held in the garden at Bateman's, the peaceful family home of Rudyard Kipling. It includes entry to Bateman’s house and garden, an introduction to the garden from Garden and Outdoors Manager Len Bernamont, and a light lunch from the Mulberry Tea-room, which you can choose on the day.

John Wiltshire is a local watercolour artist, who has been an artist in residence around England and takes inspiration from real life sources often found in and around the landscape.
