Join National Trust wildlife photographer Adrian Holloway at Saddlescombe Farm and learn how to capture natural history moments with your own camera. The course covers ISO, shutter speeds, aperture and different lens types. There will also be a short guided walk on Newtimber Hill to look for inspiration and refreshments in our Learning Barn.

Suitable for children over the age of 14.
Assistance dogs are welcome.
Meeting point
Please park in the layby opposite the farm. On entering the farm follow a sign opposite the pond to the Learning Barn.
What to bring and wear
Bring your own camera and outdoor shoes and clothes to cope with whatever the weather has planned!
Accessibility
The walk includes steep slopes and is on unsurfaced paths.

Fun for all the family. Come along to Devil's Dyke anytime between 11am and 3pm to collect your quiz sheet and map. Find the plastic eggs around the Dyke to solve the clues. All participants receive a Cadbury chocolate.

Easter Egg Rolling Competition

Bring your own hand decorated hard boiled egg and try your luck at this Easter custom - the egg that gets furthest down the Dyke valley wins. We will also judge the Best Decorated Egg.

The Big Walk - Celebrating 125 years of the National Trust

Join the big walk from Preston Park, Brighton to Devil’s Dyke. Rangers will bring the landscape alive through poetry, storytelling and wildlife encounters. This event is supported by Brighton and Hove City Council and Brighton and Hove Buses.
