Photography workshop: 'Getting off Auto'

Learn how to set up your camera, control depth of focus, adjust and correct exposure and learn techniques to take stunning photos of still life, close-ups and landscapes.

  • Booking essential

This relaxed workshop will help you to start and improve your still Life, close-ups, and portrait photography. Our excellent tutors will take the technical and make it easy to understand so that the camera in your hand becomes a tool you can use to get the pictures you've been wanting to get. We will explain the different buttons and dials on your camera so you understand what they do, how to change them and when to use them.

The workshop starts with a theory session and then you will spend the rest of the time putting everything into practice in the beautiful grounds of Scotney Castle.
