Learn the Art of Ferreting

An introduction to ferrets, nets and traps used to control rabbits and then into the parkland to use the ferrets to catch rabbits with purse nets.

The course includes identifying good warrens to ferret and the use of ferrets; the use of purse nets and long nets and the extraction of the quarry ; using modern location devices to find ferrets that have absconded; how to dispatch the quarry cleanly and efficiently with no fuss; how to prepare the rabbit ready to take home for the table.
