Moth and storm petrel night: 30 July
Meet some of Souter’s nocturnal wildlife.
- Booking not needed
- Free event
Join wildlife experts to find and identify our local moth population and see them ringing 'stormies', elusive seabirds which arrive by night. Part of an annual series of surveys which help to build a picture of nature in South Tyneside. Drop by and stay as late as you like while the team do their thing.
This event is free. Donations are very welcome and will go directly towards caring for Souter's coastal habitats and wildlife.
