House tickets: February weekends

To enter the house at Tyntesfield, you'll need a ticket. These can be pre-booked or picked up from the ticket office on the day.

  • Booking not needed
  • Admission applies

Afternoon tickets to visit the house can be pre-booked up to 24 hours in advance.

Tickets are also available from the ticket office on the day from 10am on a first come, first served basis for entry from 11am.

Your ticket will give you an hour's window in which to enter the house, but you can stay inside as long as you like.

Last entry is at 2pm, with final tickets available at 1:50pm. You then have an hour to explore before the house closes.

What is Gift Aid?

Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.

Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:

  • Gift Aid Admission
  • Standard Admission

If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.

Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.

An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

  Gift Aid Standard
Amount paid by visitor £11.00 £10.00
Tax refund from Government* £2.75 £0.00
Total received by the National Trust £13.75 £10.00

*Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.

Please note...

Car park charge of £3.00 per vehicle, per day. Parking is free for National Trust members with a valid car sticker and membership card. Free parking with designated spaces for Blue Badge holders, coaches and motorcyles.

20% off voucher for café and shop for visitors arriving by bicycle or by public transport, available from the ticket office at Home Farm visitor centre.
