Supper and safari
Have you ever heard the churr of a male nightjar or the short sharp two tone whistle of the alarm call of a sika deer? As the sun goes down and day meets night, meet the new cast of wildlife that emerges on Brownsea Island.
- Booking essential
Enjoy a delicious supper in the harbour fronted café and watch the world go by as the light begins to fade. Once your bellies are full, one of Browsea's wildlife experts will lead you on an island safari. Experience the mystical sounds of the wild as you explore the island at nighttime. You may catch a glimpse of a nightjar as it hawks for its food or hear the calls of the tawny owl high up in the trees. Watch out for low flying bats as they whirr around catching their breakfast.
