Go wild in Wolf's Den for February half term
Join us for a half-term family adventure to celebrate the reopening of our natural play area. Enjoy campfire cooking, woodland fun, St David’s day daffodil crafts and storytelling with Jake Evans.

Our tree roots have been rested and the ranger team has repaired and improved the play space. So hop, skip and jump over and you'll be free to balance on beams, build dens and climb in our natural playground nestled in Big Wood.
Half-term activities include:

-Jake Evans Storytelling, Wednesday 20 February
-Wild art, Thursdays 21 and 28 February
-Woodland Classroom, Friday 22 February

What is Gift Aid?
Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.
Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:
- Gift Aid Admission
- Standard Admission
If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.
Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.
An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

Please check house opening information as times vary. From 23 March our garden, outbuildings, restaurant and shop are open daily from 10am to 5pm until 26 October when we open 11am to 4pm.

- What to bring and wear
- Wellies are recommended for wet weather.
- Our gardens and outbuildings are fully accessible with ramped wheelchair access to the gardens. The paths in the garden are fine loose gravel, though Wolf's Den is muddy and uneven.
- Dogs on leads are welcome on our 1,200-acre estate and through to the Midden Yard. Unfortunately though, they will not be permitted through to the garden, house, stables or Wolf's Den.
