parkrun

Whether you're new to running, a youngster or an Olympic athlete, all runners are welcome at Gibside parkrun, a free 5km timed run every Saturday at 9am.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event

It's an opportunity to enjoy running in a historic garden where the background noise includes birdsong, perhaps a lawnmower or two, and not much else. The route will take you along the avenue road, past the Hall ruin, through the woodland to make your way back to the beginning. If you're new to parkrun and need to register, please visit the parkrun website: www.parkrun.org.uk
