Park Explorers group for under 5s

Park Explorers is for 2-4 year olds and parents/carers to learn about the world around them. Sessions are £5 each and focus on a different outdoor theme each week. Arrive from 9:45 for the 10am session, or from 10:45 for the 11am session.

Park Explorers is all about exploring the beautiful setting of Morden Hall Park through activities, singing, crafts and stories. With trees, meadows and bubbling streams it's the perfect location for early years learning.

There are two ways to join in Park Explorers: either book one of the online spaces more than 24 hours in advance of the session, or join on the day. But please be aware, this is a very popular activity and it is possible we may not have spaces free for everyone.

What is Gift Aid?

Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.

Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:

  • Gift Aid Admission
  • Standard Admission

If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.

Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.

An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

Meeting point
We meet in the Snuff Mill at Morden Hall Park and then head outdoors, no matter what the weather! So make sure you've got clothes you're happy to get muddy in!
What to bring and wear
All you need to bring is yourself, but remember we do go outside, so make sure to dress for the weather with wellies and coats in rainy weather, and hats and sun cream when the sun is out.
