Ranger-led butterfly walk on Sharpenhoe Clappers

Join one of our knowledgeable rangers on a walk to learn about the butterflies and other wildlife that inhabit Sharpenhoe Clappers.

Join the Rangers to discover some of the butterflies that make their home here. Hopefully we'll find the rare Duke of Burgundy butterfly along with others such as Green Hairstreak, Brimstone & Orange Tip. Learn about the habitat that the butterflies require, all about the plants they feed on and their life cycles.
