Watercolour Landscape Painting in the Park
Celebrate the great outdoors with a watercolour landscape class in Petworth Park. We will be learning in the landscape to create a seasonal Plein air painting, drawing inspiration from the light and its changing, ephemeral qualities.

Be inspired to paint in the stunning surroundings of Petworth Park. Your expert tutor from Aspire Sussex will teach you how to prepare your paper, choose your brushes, compose a landscape, create a wash, select colours, and create elements such as shadows, highlights and texture to add depth to your work.
Workshops are running on Wednesday 13th July, Saturday 13th August and Wednesday 7th September, 10.30am – 1.30pm. Tickets are £55.

- Please meet at the main visitor car park for Petworth House, by the reception building.

- Accessibility
- This event is outdoors in the Park, and will involve walking across uneven and sloping terrain. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for a walk through the Park.
- Other
- Please aim to arrive 15 minutes before the start time of your workshop as there will be a short walk to the area of the Park where we will be painting. In adverse weather the workshop will be moved to an indoor studio. Admission to Petworth House and Garden is not included with this workshop
